Top 5 Tips On Drinking At A Party

 Tips On Party Drinking!

Parties, drinking and music all amount for some of the best times for teenagers growing up. But how can you avoid ending the night with your head stuck down a toilet, throwing up your guts and regret postponing the next episode on Netflix? Read these 5 tips to find out...

  1. Drink slow! Party drinking is not a competition, and definitely not a race. There is no need to smash down 5 Koppenbergs, 3 Vodka and Cokes and a bottle of Sourz within the hour of you arriving. Be slow, chill out. You can still enjoy yourself, whilst slowly becoming intoxicated.
  2.  Water is your friend! Boring I know, however, between every few drinks a pint of water can become a superhero. The cold, tasteless liquid will sober you up slightly and allow you to carry on drinking and parting long into the early hours of the morning after.
  3. Play some drinking games! Although this is still drinking, it will, unknowingly slow your drinking speed down. The games, such as Beer Pong, will take your mind away from drinking as your competitiveness takes over and you try your best to smash your friends at the game.
  4. Fresh air! A good way to stop you passing out is to get some of that sweet, fresh air. Stepping outside for a couple of minutes will be fantastic for your head. A couple of minutes every half an hour can improve your night and continue the partay.
  5. Eat! Why would you not eat anyway, food is God's gift. Party means pizza. Party means chocolate. Party means food, which will accompany your drink well as it will soak up the alcohol inside you, allowing you to keep fresh, well fed and partying to them banging tunes for even longer!
Parties are a fantastic way to communicate with friends. Drinking is the whole point of being at a party, but don't end the night with all your drink all over your clothes. Be mindful, drink responsibly and enjoy your night out!
