Best ways to play Rocket League!

1.  All out goal machine! In goal objective games like Rocket League, there is hardly a better feeling than getting a goal for your team. Putting yourself in positions to get goals and mastering the techniques allowing you to sneak in and bash the ball into the net is a fun way to play the game. Learning the ways to score long shots and volleys is incredibly useful too and if you can pull them off in online games, you look like a pro! 

2. Between the sticks! Being the goalkeeper is not as boring as you may think. In fact being able to pull off an epic save when the ball is hurdling into the top corner looks fantastic and feels even better. Plus, being the goalkeeper allows you to see all the play, which means a loose ball and enough boost could see you adding goals from range. 

3. Brut force! Basically out for the players. No intentions of going for the ball, just playing to stop other people scoring. Knocking other cars out the way who may have a chance of scoring or annoying somebody by constantly demolishing them. It will give your team a boost as well.

 
4. Assist king! The next best thing to scoring, creating the goals is great fun and a good way to get recognition for your efforts in the game. Assisting isn't as hard as scoring either. Just smashing the ball somewhere close to the goals will get you some assists. But more tactical players will be able to pull the ball across the box, where the striker will be speeding in to get you that 50 point assist. 

5. Try the variety of cars! The customization on Rocket League is amazing, from community flags to include your favorite companies or YouTube on your car, to some great custom toppers. With the option of 11 base cars, and then the option of add on's, there is no easy picking on which car to use. A Rocket League popular choice is the huge, Merc van, but i advise you give all the cars a couple of games, as then you can get the feel of all the cars and you may just find a new favorite. Each car will be better for playing the game in another way.
